Riley the Senior | Senior | 2014

October 08, 2013

While the rest of Nebraska was busying with the Husker football game, I got to hang out with Riley and his family shooting photos in Lincoln! With their help and an occasional sound byte of the game, we visited some of my favorite parts of town and captured some great photos! Good luck on your senior year, Riley! Hope to see some of your basketball games!

Two Thumbs Up! | Kassie & Aaron are engaged!

September 24, 2013

Kassie and Aaron are two of my coolest friends. And I can't wait to celebrate their wedding! I am happy to report the afternoon we spent taking photos was a blast. It was capped off with visiting the very neighbor that Kassie has lived in - home to the manor! And since I made the trek up to Lincoln, we finished with a trip to Lazlo's for a beer and prime rib.

These two are some of the most kind, considerate and friendly people I know. I'm thankful to have such great friends. Congrats again you too!

Again at Adams | Freeman vs East Butler

September 13, 2013

Made a return trip to Adams, Neb., tonight to photograph another football game for the Beatrice Daily Sun. Check out more images in the paper most likely Saturday and Monday! Here are a few bonus images from the game between Freeman and East Butler.

I'm definitely trying to soak in all of the precious sunlight during these early season games. The darkness has already started to roll in during the second quarter! At least it has started to cool down! Hurrah for football and fall weather!

Southeast Senior in Southeast Nebraska | Amanda | Seniors

September 12, 2013

Afternoons like the one photographing Amanda are why I love shooting close to home. We walked through fields, hit up parks and visited the fairgrounds. And despite the August heat, humidity and wind, it was another great shoot in the books! Have a great senior year, Amanda!

Eight vs Eight | Sterling at Freeman

September 06, 2013

Here are some outtakes from the Sterling/Freeman football game. Eight-man football is something glorious. If you haven't ever seen a game, you are truly missing out.

From a tie ballgame at half to a late touchdown to stretch a lead briefly to 12, the game came down to an onside kick attempt. I would give you the play-by-play, but it wouldn't be the same. It was a good crowd for this game between towns only seven miles apart. Glad I could spend my Friday night near a football field. Check out the Beatrice Daily Sun for more images (one tomorrow and more in the Monday paper).

*Still wish I could have watched my hometown JCC Thunderbirds!
